Don’t miss this historic event celebrating perhaps the most famous mother and daughter performance team singing with authority Jazz and the Blues.  Melba Joyce, Carmen’s mother is the second generation prodigy having graced stages from a young lady with her legendary dad, Melvin Moore a noted performer and early record label executive with Decca/MCA. My favorite is Melba Live In London http://www.melbajoyce.com/cd.html. Melba has performed with the greats: Louis Armstrong, Benny Carter, Miles Davis, Lionel Hampton, Dr. Billy Taylor, Frank Foster, Barry Harris, and others. For 50 years she has preserved traditions as a local, national and international jazz singer offering the best in the art form from all venues from USO entertainment tours in Vietnam to sharing Jazz Mobile “bright moments” in the streets of NYC to acclaimed shows at Lincoln Center.

Carmen sat on legendary musician and U.S. Ambassador, Louis Armstrong’s knee and was admired for her talent at age 4. She worked with everyone from Count Basie to Frank Sinatra. This third generation prodigy has global acclaim with accolades from music legends and noted symphony orchestras around the globe. You can see her 2011-2012 engagements   http://www.carmenbradford.com/cbperf.htm.
